Last September, we heard out of nowhere that Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly were dating and it was “very serious.” Soon after, Trevor showed people how serious when he bought a huge, multi-million-dollar home in Bel Air, intending it to be his West Coast home with Minka. Then, just a few weeks back, we suddenly heard that Minka and Trevor were over and that she was already going on girls’ trips to get over him. Well… another chapter. They spent time together in St. Barts.
The love story between Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly may not be over just yet. The stars spent time together in St. Barts last week following their recent split, PEOPLE confirms. According to one source, the two are “not officially back together,” but are “figuring things out.”
A second source tells PEOPLE the Daily Show host, 37, and Titans actress, 40, were “kissing” and getting “cuddly” while dining at French-Japanese fusion restaurant Orega on the Caribbean island on May 25. According to the source, they departed the vacation hot spot together via private plane the next day. Reps for Noah and Kelly could not be reached for comment.
The St. Barts trip comes just weeks after a source told PEOPLE last month that Noah and Kelly were going their separate ways. Though neither has publicly addressed their relationship, PEOPLE confirmed last August that the two were dating. A source said at the time that they were “very serious” and “very happy.”
There are certain women who conduct their lives in a way I find admirable. Minka is one of those women – even when she’s with a messy man, she keeps it classy and private. When she’s with a private man, she keeps it even more private. She’s not giving interviews about her relationships and she moves like a shark, quiet and deadly. My point is that we’ll never know what’s happening between these two, but I feel like the moves are sort of significant. A breakup, confirmed to People Mag. Minka immediately going out and enjoying herself with her girls. Then Trevor making the effort to do a “please come back to me” vacation? Yeah. I feel like she dumped him for reasons and now he’s doing the most to win her back.
According to E! News, after their St. Barts vacay, they returned to New York and they’ve been there ever since. Sources also say that Minka has already moved out of the Bel Air home, and this is not the first time they’ve broken up and gotten back together (eh). A source told E!: “They are hopeful things will work out and are seeing where it goes.” Meh.
