I have no interest in covering Khloe Kardashian’s latest “Gurl, you might want to see a professional about your issues” appearance (go here to see the NSFW photos). So I’m doing this Kim Kardashian post, because we have a million new photos of Kim from the past three days. She was in NYC. Then Kim and Khloe flew to London over the weekend, but only for a night. Then they flew back to LA where the whole Kardashian Klan attended French Montana’s birthday party. I’m also adding photos of Kim and Khloe at the airport, plus a few photos of Kim, Kanye and North out in NYC on Friday.
So, what else is going on with Kim? Eh. On Thursday, she and Kanye wore matching Balmain outfits and went to an album release party at the Soho House for Theophilus London. Kanye executive produced the album. Kim was also spotted carrying around Jennifer Lopez’s new book, True Love, and Jennifer tweeted a thank you to Kim. And Kim gave this interview to The Daily Mail while she was in London over the weekend – some highlights:
Kim’s fashion icon: ‘I love Kate Moss. I love how she wears her winged eyeliner and her messy hair and how it looks so effortless but still put together. It looks beachy and messy at the same time; I love her glamour.’
Kim shills for Hairfinity, a haircare vitamin complex: ‘I’ve tried so many things and I really genuinely love this product. I take two pills in the morning with my vitamins and it works for me.’
She wishes she hadn’t lasered off part of her baby hairs at hairline: “I wanted some back, I wish I hadn’t lasered so much off and when I started taking this supplement, they started growing back the perfect amount so that made me really happy.’
Beauty tips: ‘As far as products, I love anything from a Neutrogena face wipe to the Kardashian Beauty dry shampoo and conditioner, which we have coming out. I’ve never seen a dry conditioner out there but it really helps when you’re trying to not wash your hair.’
She loves tanning: ‘Tanning is everything, I tan all the time and I do the beds because I have psoriasis so it really helps with that and I just think when you tan, it makes you look so much skinnier.’
I agree with Kim that it was a mistake to laser off all of her baby hairs at her hairline. It was much more noticeable a few years ago, when her lack of baby hairs and her over-Botoxing made her look especially alien-like. I tend to think Kim hiring Chris McMillian to do her hair has dramatically improved that situation, plus Kim isn’t wearing so many weaves these days. As for Kim’s obsession with Kate Moss… A) I think most women love the way Kate Moss can sort of effortlessly put a look together, so Kim’s not alone and B) I’ve always thought Kanye is probably more obsessed with Kate, you know?
