You season 4 part 1 arrives on Netflix on Feb. 9, and this season we find Joe in London, England. While in the United Kingdom, Joe finds himself entangled in a friend group made up of privileged socialites who are targeted by an unknown killer. But Joe isn’t safe from this mystery killer either. He starts receiving texts from an anonymous person who claims to know his real identity and dark past. Unfortunately for Joe, it looks like no matter how hard he tries to bury the past, someone keeps digging it up.
The last time we saw Joe, he had escaped from Madre Linda and traveled to Paris to search for Marienne. It’s unclear why he decided to relocate to London, but I’m guessing things didn’t turn out well with his search for Marienne. Now, Joe attempts to start over in a new city with a new identity as Jonathan Moore. Somehow he gets a job as a professor at a university and tries to live a normal life. But his dream of starting fresh is crushed when he meets a circle of wealthy people, and they begin being picked off one by one by a mystery killer.
We can already tell that You season 4 will be an exciting season, and we can’t wait to meet all the new characters!

Of course, we had to start with the talented actor playing the protagonist, Penn Badgley.
Penn Badgley returns as Joe Goldberg, or should we say Jonathan Moore in You season 4. Joe spends the first half of the fourth season trying to figure out who’s killing off the circle of friends and the identity of the person sending him creepy texts.
Tati Gabrielle reprises her role as Marienne in the fourth season. She’s still on the run from Joe and is trying her best to make sure she doesn’t bump into him. But based on the trailer for part 1, Joe eventually finds Marienne. Does he let her go, or does he let his murderous tendencies take over?
Charlotte plays Kate, an art gallery director who is Joe’s newest obsession. She grew up with a bohemian single mother and worked hard to create the life she now has. While Kate may appear an ice queen to outsiders, she’s very loyal to her friends and is protective of her best friend, Lady Phoebe. She has her suspicions about Joe and believes he’s not who he portrays to be. But she may be holding on to a secret herself…
Stephen portrays Malcolm, a privileged literature professor and Kate’s boyfriend. When he’s not working, he’s spending time with his friends, doing drugs, and drinking the night away at an exclusive club. Even though he’s dating Kate, he cheats on her with various women.
Lukas plays Adam, an American entrepreneur and gambler who comes from a wealthy and successful family. However, he has repeatedly failed his family, which ultimately makes him the black sheep. He’s also dating Lady Phoebe. Adam has his own secrets that he would like to keep hidden, but with a killer on the loose, is that even possible?
Tilly plays Lady Phoebe, an aristocratic socialite who unlike many of her friends is sweet and kind. She’s extremely wealthy and has a passionate fan base. She’s also dating Adam and is close friends with Kate.
Amy-Leigh plays Nadia, a literature major who aspires to be an author. She’s very outspoken, making people not want to be friends with her. Nadia is used to being by herself, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t affected. She has a secret she’s trying to keep hidden because it may very well destroy her life. Who will she go to for help?
Ed plays Rhys, an author who writes an acclaimed memoir on growing up in poverty. His newfound fame brought upon pressure to launch a political career, but Rhys doesn’t seem to bothered by it. He grew up poor before learning that he comes from a wealthy background. So, he knows what it’s like to not have much and also what it’s like to have it all. He might not be much of a party animal like his circle of friends, but he still enjoys being around them.
Niccy plays Sophie, an entrepreneur and influencer with many high-end sponsorship deals. She’s also a part of Kate’s privileged social circle and is the older protective sister of Simon.
Aidan plays Simon, an artist and the son of a Chinese technology tycoon. Like the rest of his group of friends, he attended Oxford. He doesn’t like strangers and is impossible to impress. Additionally, he’s the younger brother of Sophie.
Ben portrays the role of Roald. Roald comes from an old aristocratic family who are very well-known around Europe. He’s good-looking and appears to have perfect manners, but he also has a dark secret that he’s been keeping hidden for a while. What could the secret be? Eve plays Gemma, a member of the circle of wealthy friends. She enjoys partying and can be fun to be around. However, she’s also incredibly tone-deaf and lacks empathy for those who aren’t as privileged as she is.
Ozioma plays Blessing, a Nigerian princess and cryptocurrency investor. She’s also in tech and has this bizarre belief that the entire world is living in a simulation. Like her social circle, Blessing attended Oxford.
Dario plays Connie, a member of the privileged circle of friends. Like many of his friends, Connie belongs to the upper class. He can be obnoxious and has a serious potty mouth. He also enjoys betting, horses, drinking alcohol, and doing drugs.
Sean plays Vic, Adam’s personal driver, security guard, and dealer. He’s loyal to his employer and will do everything he can to protect Adam and his friends from harm. He also knows and keeps many of Adam’s and his friends’ secrets.
