Tisha Campbell is an American actress and singer who was born on October 13, 1968. She made her acting debut in the 1986 rock musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors.

Tisha Campbell also starred in the NBC musical comedy-drama Rags to Riches, which had a brief run (1987–1988). In the television series Martin on Fox from 1992 to 1997, Campbell played Gina Waters-Payne. In the ABC comedy My Wife and Kids from 2001 to 2005, Campbell played Janet “Jay” Marie Johnson-Kyle, for which she won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series.

Later, she had recurring appearances on Dr. Ken (Lifetime, 2008–2009), Rita Rocks (Lifetime, 2008–2009), and The Protector (Lifetime, 2011). (ABC, 2015–2017).
