Who's in the Norwegian horror film?

It looks like February won’t be filled with just romantic comedies because a new horror movie called Viking Wolf is set to be released on Netflix on Feb. 3. Read on to find out all about this film, including who’s in the cast.

Viking Wolf, otherwise known as Vikingulven, is a Norwegian Netflix original movie directed by Stig Svendsen from a screenplay co-written by him and Espen Aukan. In addition, Filmkameratene A/S is the production team behind the film, and Rikke Ennis, Tim King, and Fredrik Warstedt signed on as executive producers.

It’s about a 17-year-old girl named Thale who moves to a small town because of her mom’s new job at the local police department. But her life forever changes when she attends a party and witnesses another student being brutally murdered. While now being a key witness in a murder case, Thale begins to have strange visions and weird desires.

So, who’s in the Viking Wolf cast? Here’s what we know.

Elli Rhiannon Müller Osborne leads the cast as Thale Berg. She’s best known for her previous roles as Emiilie in the drama film Utøya: July 22 and Margrethe in Netflix’s Royalteen. You might also recognize her from the movies Psychobitch and Hope and the TV shows Furia and Ida tar ansvar. We’ll see her next in the sequel to RoyalteenRoyalteen: Princess Margrethe, which will be coming to Netflix at an unknown date.

Liv Mjönes’s character’s name is unknown, but she’s believed to be playing Thale’s police officer mother in the movie, who’s trying to crack the murder case. Many people may recognize Liv from her role as Frida in the Swedish drama film Kyss mig. However, she also had roles in A Serious GameSthlm RequiemMidsommarThe LawyerFullt husThe Holiday and Tack för senast. We’ll see her next in a drama movie called En dag kommer allt det här bli ditt and a TV show called Kapningen. Also, she’s currently on a miniseries titled Händelser vid vatten.
