A new mystery thriller series titled Pálpito is coming to Netflix on April 20, and you absolutely must know everything about the show!
Pálpito, otherwise known as The Marked Heart, is a Colombian series created and written by Leonardo Padrón with Camilo Vega as director. Clara María Ochoa, Ana Piñeres, and Ahmed Al Baker signed on as executive producers.
It stars well-known actors Michael Brown, Ana Lucía Domínguez, Sebastian Martínez, and Margarita Muñoz. Other cast members of the show include Moisés Arizmendi, Valeria Emiliani, Julián Cerati, Juan Fernando Sánchez, Mauricio Cujar, and Jacqueline Arenal.

The story follows a man named Simon, who is set on seeking revenge on those who murdered his wife. But things become complicated when he falls in love with the woman who survived because of his murdered wife’s heart.

"Simon’s wife is murdered to remove her heart and transplant it to Camila, the wife of a wealthy man. In search of revenge, Simon plunges into the dangerous world of organ trafficking. In his frantic search, fate will make him fall in love with Camila, the woman who survived thanks to the heart of his murdered wife. The climax will arrive when both discover the truth."
The premise is already captivating enough to make you want to tune in and watch. I can already tell that there will be a lot of twists and turns that will have you hooked and shocking cliffhangers that will have you at the edge of your seat.
The original series is rated TV-MA, meaning it may not be suitable for ages 17 and under. There will be some content that most parents will deem inappropriate for younger kids. Some inappropriate content includes sex, nudity, gore, sexual violence, smoking, alcohol, and intense violent scenes. So make sure the kids are tucked in and ready for bed before you hit play on the Pálpito title page and watch to your heart’s content.
