Lindsay Lohan shared her first postpartum picture on Instagram after giving birth to her baby boy and included an iconic Mean Girls line in her post.

Lindsay Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas welcomed their bundle of joy earlier this month, a baby boy named Luai. The actress shared an insight into her motherhood journey so far and posted her first picture on social media after the birth of her son.

Lindsay Lohan shares first postpartum picture

On Wednesday (August 2, 2023), the Just My Luck movie star posted a stunning postpartum picture and revealed that being a mom is the “greatest joy” in the world.

“I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery. Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world!” Lindsay wrote in her post.

Referring to a line from Mean Girls, she added: “My OOTD lately is my @fridamom postpartum underwear. Because I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom.”

The Parent Trap star looked beautiful in a green top and gray shorts and posed for a selfie in her bedroom.

Fans react to iconic Mean Girls line

Mean Girls fans are well aware of the iconic “I’m not a regular mom” and many Instagram users felt obliged to share their reactions to the reference in the comments.

“Love the mean girls reference!” one user reacted. “Iconic.”

“You’re not a regular mom. You’re a cool mom,” another one wrote. “Just make sure you’re not a regular mom. You’re a cool mom,” someone else chimed in.

Another heartfelt comment read: “You’ve come a long way! Be proud of yourself. You’re beautiful. Being a mom changes your world and your heart.”

Lindsay gave birth in July

The Freaky Friday star gave birth to her baby son Luai in July 2023 after tying the knot in 2022. The baby boy’s name is of Arabic origin and translates to “protector” or “shield”.

Lindsay and her husband Bader welcomed their baby son in Dubai where they currently live.

She confirmed her pregnancy in March on Instagram with a picture of a white onesie with the words “coming soon” alongside the caption “blessed”.
