Here are some mostly gorgeous shots of Heidi Klum in the new issue of GQ Germany. This is – I’m pretty sure – her first kind-of nude photo shoot since giving birth for the fourth time last fall? Eh. She takes her clothes off so often, I don’t even know if that’s true. Anyway, the only thing keeping me from declaring these photos full-on gorgeous is Heidi’s unfortunate haircut. I’ve already bemoaned this look – calling it the hair equivalent of mom-jeans. And on Heidi, it just feels and looks dated. Like “Outtakes from The Reader.” Look at this photo:
Sure, it’s striking. Beautiful. Lovely. But I didn’t even notice the half-boob because I was so distracted by her shaggy, over-grown Jagger cut. And those BANGS. Of course I have bangs trauma, I’ve had it since I was little. Now whenever I see someone with big bangs, I twitch. That’s probably one of the reasons I dislike Lea Michele – her bangs are out of control.
Other than that, the rest of the photos are lovely. It’s totally crazy that she’s had four kids, all within….what? Like, six years? Crazy. Her body bounces back like a champ. And HuffPo had some meager interview excerpts/translations too. Apparently, Heidi said “Okay, I’m 37, not perfect, mother of four children. But so what? Why not?” as well as “Beauty means to be happy with what you have.” Amen.
