Harry Potter legend leaves huge $6 million fortune after his devastating death

Harry Potter icon Robbie Coltrane has left a huge fortune for his family. After debuting in his acting career in 1980, the actor spent four decades creating multiple iconic characters for both small screen and big screen and left with a massive fortune for his close ones.

Robbie Coltrane’s contribution to the Harry Potter movies is immense and his suave presence as Hagrid made the character a fan favorite for generations. Along with Harry Potter, Robbie Coltrane has appeared in a number of legendary TV shows and films including Tutti Frutti, Cracker, National Treasure, and more.

Harry Potter star Robbie Coltrane leaves huge $6 million fortune

Robbie Coltrane aka Harry Potter’s Hagrid passed away on October 14, 2022. Reports stated Robbie’s huge fortune amounts to almost $6 million and his UK-based properties alone are worth around £3,848,971 that the Scottish celebrity left for his close ones in his will established in 2021.

Robbie’s ex-wife Rhona Gemmell and friend Gordon Bulloch acted as trustees of his estate. Along with his UK estate, he also owned properties and vehicles across Europe and the United States. The Stormbreaker star owned properties in Spain amounting to £776,693 and also had almost £300,000 in funds in the United States.

Robbie leaves property shares for his god son and sister

Robbie Coltrane has left some of his property for his close ones and also donated a special cultural piece to one of Scotland’s museums. Reports claim that Robbie left £450,000 to his sister Annie Rae and £250,000 to his godson.

To pay tribute to his Scottish roots, he donated a model of the boat Aquitania, built on the Clyde, to Glasgow’s Riverside Museum for display.

Robbie was also known to be an art connoisseur and a car enthusiast whose prized passion for cars is worth around £42,250 and his art collection is valued at a whopping £36,300.
