TV âlegendâ Robyn Bernardâs death has rocked the soap world after news she passed away devastated fans.
The General Hospital star was tragically found in the early hours of the morning of March 12, after deputies were called in the town of San Jacinto, reports say. Robyn Bernardâs cause of death has not yet been revealed, with Riverside County Coroner reporting they identified the celebrityâs body by using her fingerprints. Following the sad news, tributes have poured in for the TV star.

Riverside County Coroner has said no cause of death has been determined yet. Robyn was 64 years old.
An autopsy is scheduled to be performed, but toxicology, a standard procedure, will take several weeks to complete, writes TMZ.
Following the shocking news of her death, Robyn Bernard fans have poured in to pay tribute to the star on social media, including Twitter.
One wrote: âRest in peace legend,â, which was echoed by another: âSo sad, may her soul RIPâ.
A third penned: âRemembering Robyn Bernard, with my favorite song she sang on general hospital as Terry Brock, âyou and me against the worldâ. May she rest in peace.â
A soap fan commented: âOmg I remember her. Wow. So many of these folks from my childhood leaving us.â
While a fourth said: âItâs devastating to hear of the passing of Robyn Bernard who was in General Hospital such sad news sending condolences to her family and friends RIP Robyn Bernard.â
Robynâs career
Born in Gladewater, Texas, Robyn sought out an acting career and her first roles were in TV shows from the 1980s, from Diva and Simon & Simon to The Facts of Life and Tour of Duty.
The Hollywood starâs big break came in 1984, when she bagged the role of Terry Brock on popular soap opera General Hospital. She starred in the hit soap for 145 episodes until 1990.
She was loved by fans for her feisty interpretation of Terry after joining the cast as the daughter of Bobbie Spencerâs abusive first husband, DL, played by David Groh. The character, wanting to be a singer, ended up tying the knot with Kevin OâConnor in the show who ended up becoming a killer. Talk about drama.
Robynâs sister Crystal was also in showbiz, appearing on primetimeâs Wings.
Her last acting credit was in 2002 in the movie, Voices from the High School, where she played a psychologist.
After leaving showbiz she led a private life out of the spotlight.
