Cafe Minamdang is a comedy-mystery series created by Park Hye-jin, Ko Jae-hyun, and Yun Ra-young. It’s based on the award-winning web novel titled Minamdang: Case Note by Jung Jae-ha.
The show follows a man named Nam Han-joon, a former profiler turned swindler who disguises himself as a fortune teller and uses his business to defraud his customers.
After the first episode’s release on June 27, you can expect the second episode to arrive on Netflix on June 28. Former K-pop star Seo In-guk leads the cast as Nam Han-joon, the former criminal profiler turned fraudster. You might recognize Seo In-guk from his roles in the K-Dramas Reply 1997, Master’s Sun, Shopping King Louie and Doom at Your Service. Oh Yeon-seo plays the role of Han Jae-hee, a third-year homicide detective who works to put an end to Nam Han-joon’s devious schemes. Oh Yeon-seo is known for her roles in My Husband Got a Family, Come Back Mister, My Sassy Girl and Mad for Each Other.
