Anthony Edward Sowell is an American serial killer and rapist, he is also known as the Cleveland Strangler, he was born on August 19, 1959. Anthony was found guilty of murdering 11 women in 2011, after their bodies were found in his Cleveland, Ohio, house, back in 2009. Sowell died in prison from a fatal disease after receiving a death sentence for the crimes.

She told police that after a few drinks, he became angry and hit her, choked, and also raped her as she passed out. However, on October 29, police arrived at his home with an arrest warrant but he was not there.
Four other women’s bodies were discovered on his home’s third floor and in his crawl spaces, along with the bodies of two others that were buried in a shallow grave in the basement. The bodies of three more people were discovered after digging in the backyard, along with the fragmented remains. The eleventh victim was discovered inside the house, and also a human skull in a pail.
