All of the songs featured in Obliterated on Netflix (by episode)

Just before 2023 comes to an end, Netflix comes out swinging with its action-comedy Obliterated from the guys who brought you movies and shows like Cobra Kai, American Reunion, and Harold & Kumar. If you love watching those titles, you will definitely be hooked by the action-packed comedy featuring leading stars Shelley Hennig and Nick Zano.

The series centers on an elite team who have come together to thwart a terrorist attack in Las Vegas. Although they might be the best of the best at their jobs while sober, they will have to put their skills to the test while drunk and/or high. After celebrating their assumed win with wild night of partying, they discover the job isn’t finished just yet.

To accompany the Las Vegas setting and the high-stakes, fast-paced storyline, Obliterated includes a number of popular party anthems and other songs in its soundtrack that you will want to add to your playlists. Below we’re sharing a full list of the identifiable songs in each episode, with a description about some of the biggest songs. Check it out!

The first episode of the season kicks off with a lot of EDM music at the poolside party at a resort in Las Vegas as the team works together at the pool to track Koslov and the bomb. When the team invades Koslov’s hotel room, “Tick Tick Boom” by The Hives soundtracks the action sequence, and when Hagerty diffuses the bomb, he chooses “Feeling Good” by Michael Bublé as the “perfect song.” Other popular songs in the episode include those by Charli XCX, Bebe Rexha, and The Black Keys.

Maya and her new friend Sharonda (played by Kellee Stewart), who’s secretly an enemy working with Russia, drink champagne in the back of limo to the tune of Doja Cat’s hit song “Get Into It (Yuh).” There are also two identifiable songs from the strip club sequence, including “Let’s Get Twisted” and the classic rock song “Cherry Pie.” If you were hoping to find the song from the party bus scene, sorry, but we couldn’t find it!

While not boring in the slightest, episode 3 was one of the lightest on music with only three major songs. As always, the episode features the pulsing energy of the electronic score running throughout all of the action and chase sequences. Without the score, the show would really be missing a key component of its tone and sense of place. But for a closer look at the songs in the episode, add the following songs to your playlist.

The song that plays when Paul hallucinates driving up to Caesar’s Palace to confront his daughter and her boyfriend wasn’t identifiable, and neither was the EDM song playing during his hallucinated fight sequence in the hotel room. The Van Halen classic “Runnin’ with the Devil” soundtracks Trunk and Lana’s escape as well as Chad and Ava’s return from Crazy Susan’s bunker. It’s the only song featured in the episode.

While episode 5 wasn’t light on the plot twists and suspense, it was a bit lighter on the music side of things with only two standout songs. “Rhythm of the Night” plays on the party boat that almost interferes with the team’s plan to catch the nuke, while a cover of Michael Bublé’s hit song “Haven’t Met You Yet” is performed by Lindsey Kraft’s character Yani on the boat Hagerty finds himself floating toward.

Following the chaotic mess that got Maya shot, the team argues and divides into two groups, with Ava and the girls teaming up and going to a club in order to gain intel on the bomb’s location. Meanwhile, Chad and the guys end up at a diner fighting a bunch of Elvis impersonators. “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers plays during the scene, and Netflix’s subtitles indicate that it’s the Elvis Presley version of the song. There are additional songs playing in the background of the diner scenes that weren’t able to be easily identified.

Apart from a few electronic covers of recognizable songs like “The Beat Goes On” by Sonny & Cher and “Push It” by Salt-N-Pepa, episode 7 also features three throwback classics from Wang Chung, Aerosmith, and Kool & The Gang.

The season finale opens with “Luck Be a Lady,” another swing classic fitting for the Las Vegas setting. During Trunk’s battle in the kitchen, the song “Ante Up” sets the tone, while the hit everyone knows from 2012 — “I Love It” by Icona Pop and Charli XCX — plays in the closing moments of the episode as the team celebrates their big win.
